Al Ahli have fired Liverpool star Firmino from the team, according to reports in Egypt.
The Egyptian newspaper Al Masry reported that Firmino had been sent off the pitch during a game against Zamalek last week and was subsequently replaced by a substitute.
It is believed that Firmino had made a poor tackle on a Zamalek player, which led to his dismissal.
Firmino has been at Liverpool since 2015 and has made over 300 appearances for the club, scoring over 60 goals.
